Somanath assumes charge as Secretary of Department of Space, and Space Commission Chairman

S Somanath on Friday assumed charge as Secretary, Department of Space and Chairman, Space Commission. Prior to this, he had a four-year stint as the Director, Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), Thiruvananathapuram.
