In Himachal Pradesh Lahaul tourist spots shut to provide ‘silence’ to deities

The sissu village in the Lahaul valley in Himachal Pradesh will be closed for tourists for 50 days starting from January 10th in order to allow a local religious festival to proceed without "noise."
