India triples organ donations over past decade: Union health minister Mansukh Mandaviya

Union minister for health and family welfare, Dr Mansukh Mandaviya on Thursday informed that India has tripled the rate of organ donations over the past decade. "Over 15,000 organ donations are now made annually in the country as compared to 5,000 in 2013," said Mandaviya, adding, “There cannot be a greater service to humanity than giving life to another person.”
