'Will unseat Modi if doesn't grant special status to Bihar', Lalu declares

RJD chief Lalu Prasad has threatened to remove the Narendra Modi government if it fails to grant special category status to Bihar. The demand was recently approved by the Nitish Kumar cabinet. Lalu Prasad made the comments before leaving for New Delhi for a health check-up. The JD(U) has been pushing for special category status for over a decade, but the demand remains unfulfilled. BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi dismissed the demand as a political stunt, stating that the concept of special status has been removed by the 14th Finance Commission.
