BJP on way to rule 12 states on its own, Congress down to 3

With BJP winning in three states, they now have power in 12 states. Congress loses Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh, leaving them with power in three states. Aam Aadmi Party is the third national party with government in two states. BJP is in power in Uttarakhand, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Goa, Assam, Tripura, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, and likely to gain Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Chhattisgarh. Congress is in power in Karnataka, Himachal Pradesh, and Telangana, and part of ruling coalitions in Bihar and Jharkhand.
