Billionaire Gautam Adani has announced a massive investment of Rs 2 lakh crore in Gujarat over the next five years. The investment will primarily focus on establishing the world's largest clean energy project, which Adani claims will be visible even from space. The Adani Group aims to create an integrated renewable energy ecosystem, encompassing solar panels, wind turbines, hydrogen electrolysers, green ammonia, PVC, and expansions in copper and cement production. Adani emphasized the commitment to fostering an Atmanirbhar Bharat (self-reliant India) and anticipates generating 1 lakh jobs through this initiative. Adani praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision and efforts in reshaping India's industrial landscape, citing impressive economic growth despite geopolitical conflicts and pandemic challenges. Adani highlighted India's GDP growth of 185% and per capita income surge of 165% since 2014. He commended Modi for transforming India into a global leader, particularly through initiatives like the Solar Alliance and leadership in the G20. Adani expressed optimism about India's future under Modi's leadership, lauding the focus on youth and the goal of making India a developed nation by 2047.
