This decision from a bench of CJI D Y Chandrachud, and Justices J B Pardiwala and Manoj Misra came on a plea filed by Madhya Pradesh LoP Umang Singhar, who approached the apex court directly questioning the manner in which he was virtually kept in dark till the last minute about the person who has been chosen for appointment as Lokayukta.
