Election commission revises protocol for symbol loading unit of EVM, VVPAT

The Election Commission of India has issued revised protocols for handling and storing symbol loading units (SLUs) of EVMs and VVPATs, following a Supreme Court order. SLUs must now be sealed in containers after symbol loading and stored for 45 days. Access to SLU storage areas requires invitation to candidates or their representatives.
