Major Averages Continue To Turn In Mixed Performance In Afternoon Trading

The major U.S. stocks indexes moved in opposite directions early in the session on Friday and continue to turn in a mixed performance in afternoon trading. While the Nasdaq has risen to a new record intraday high, the Dow is moving lower for the third straight session.
