Saudi Arabia halts bomb-laden unmanned boat in Red Sea

(MENAFN) The Saudi Press Agency said in a report that the Saudi Arabian Defense Ministry halted a bomb-laden unmanned boat in the Red Sea off the coasts of Yanbu city west of the country. The ministry's spokesman Brigadier General Turki Al-Maliki stated the boat was demolished early on Tuesday in line with the Rules of Engagement. He noted that an investigation has been conducted to obtain further details concerning this assault and find out the responsible party. He added that the ministry takes on all thorough procedures to deal with aggressive acts aiming at national assets and economic installations.
