Palestine: 14 new COVID-19 deaths, 1,084 cases recorded

(MENAFN - Jordan News Agency) Ramallah, Apr. 28 (Petra) -- The Palestinian Minister of Health Mai al-Kaila said on Wednesday that Palestine recorded 14 new deaths from the COVID-19 and 1,084 cases in the last 24 hours.In the daily report on the epidemiological situation of the virus in Palestine, al-Kaila said that the recovery rate from the virus reached 92.1 percent, while the active cases rate reached 6.8 percent, and the death rate stood at 1.1 percent of the total number of infections.There are 145 coronavirus patients in intensive care rooms, including 40 patients on artificial respirators, while 389 patients are being treated in COVID-19 centers and departments in hospitals in the West Bank, she added.
