Washington state attorney general to review 30 investigations of police deadly force for conflicts of interest

Attorney General Bob Ferguson's office will review the cases to ensure the investigations followed a new state law requiring independence, transparency and were free of conflicts of interest. The review is inspired by a mishandled investigation into the March 3 death of Manuel Ellis in Tacoma.
