If you still needed more proof that Apple’s new iPhone 12 is selling like hotcakes, here’s a report from Counterpoint Research revealing that the new generation accounts for six out of the top 10 best-selling devices in January 2021. iPhone 12 was the top model in the world, accounting for 6 percent of all sales, followed by iPhone 12 Pro Max with 5 percent. iPhone 12 Pro comes third with 4 percent, while iPhone 11 is fourth with 2 percent. Overall, six of the top 10 smartphones are iPhones, and this shows just how good Apple’s smartphones are selling, even if they’re not necessarily part of the latest generation.
