Rikers Island inmate is first to test positive for coronavirus, de Blasio announces

An inmate at Rikers Island has tested positive for coronavirus and eight others who are showing symptoms of COVID-19 have been moved into isolation, New York Mayor Bill de Blasio said Thursday.
