Paul Ryan on government assistance: “Most people don't want to be dependent”

Speaker of the House Paul Ryan believes the current war on poverty is simply treating its symptoms and further perpetuating economic inequality. Ryan apologizes for calling those on government assistance “takers,” admitting, “I was wrong to do that.”
