Greenhouse gas levels hit record highs despite global coronavirus measures

While global carbon dioxide emissions fell as much as 17 percent during the most intense period of lockdowns, the annual impact is 'no bigger than normal year to year fluctuations', according to the World Meteorological Organisation.
