‘The Best-Read Army in the World’ Review: Battalions of Books

I do not know if American soldiers during World War II really were “the best-read army in the world,” as the New York Post declared in 1945, but after visiting the current Grolier Club exhibition (which takes its title from that citation), it certainly seems possible.
