Spike Lee Slams Trump In Cannes
On Tuesday, Spike Lee slammed Donald Trump at the Cannes Film Festival.
Lee's new movie, BlacKkKlansman, premiered at the festival to a 10-minute standing ovation.
His film takes place in the 1970s.
The film ends with footage of President Donald Trump and his reaction to last year's Charlottesville protests.
"We have a guy in the White House who had a chance to say we are about love and not about hate ... And that *bleep* did not denounce the Klan, the alt-right, and those Nazi *bleep*.”
