According to Newser, the investigation into the shooting death of reputed crime boss Francesco "Frank" Cali has turned up new information.

NYPD Chief of Detectives Dermot Shea told reporters that Cali may have stepped outside after an auto accident took place in front of his home.

Shea believes the fender bender may have been "part of the plan." to lure the alleged mafia member out of his home where he was then shot.
