President Donald Trump said he doesn’t want the U.S. to do business with China’s tech company, Huawei.
According to Reuters, the administration is debating extending the company’s grace period.
This would allow them to continue to buy supplies from U.S. companies to service their customers.
Two sources familiar with the situation said the “temporary general license” would be extended for 90 days.
Trump said he didn’t want to do business with them because it’s “a national security threat.”
