Tropical Storm Barreling Towards Northern Bahamas

The leading edge of a potential tropical storm brought rain and wind to the Bahamas early Friday.

The new storm front complicates the ongoing search for 1,300 people missing in the wake of hurricane Dorian.

The Miami-based National Hurricane Center (NHC) has issued a tropical storm warning for most of the Northwestern Bahamas.

The islands of the northwest were ravaged when Hurricane Dorian ripped through the archipelago two weeks ago.

According to Reuters, early Friday, the tropical disturbance was 235 miles east-southeast of Freeport on Grand Bahama Island.
