For the first time since 2002, the loogootee lady lions are semi-state bound.
Loogootee won the west washington regional on saturday, beating tecumseh by a final 53-47 next up for the top ranked lions is eight ranked greenwood christian academy who ended north central's season in the southwestern shelbyville regional.
Loogootee and gca are set to go at it at 4pm this saturday down in jasper.
It's a top ten showdown that the lady lions are more than prepared for.
<we have looked forward to this and it's very exciting.
Especially after last year, we're so excited.
Those juniors have been, they've won big games before.
This is really nothing new to them.
They've won in every sport they play and one win and we're at bankers life.
