Emilia Clarke, a.k.a.
Daenerys Targaryen, recalled the tumultuous end to her time as the Mother of Dragons in a recent interview with the Sunday Times.
Clarke admitted she “felt” for her character after Daenerys was killed by Jon Snow.
“I really felt for her.
And yeah, was I annoyed that Jon Snow didn’t have to deal with something?” she joked.
“He got away with murder — literally".
Clarke also addressed a popular critique of the show, which was that the final season tried to do too much in too few episodes.
“We could have spun it out for a little longer,” she told the newspaper.
