Schools closed for the rest of the semester children are still able to get free breakfasts and lunches.

Mooreville elementary school is one of the meal distribution sites for lee county schools' "grab-and"go" feeding program.

Students 18 years and younger can get meals twice a week at various sites around the school district.

Education leaders said a child does not have to be a lee county school student, nor do they have to be of school-age.

However, each child getting a meal must be present in the vehicle during pickup.

The feeding program includes servings of fresh fruits and just a reminder several organizations
