Police said trevor bowie stole a gun from his girlfriend's house in the 800 block of north 7th street.
Officers later found bowie and a chase began.
When police say he pointed his gun at the officers, elias and salazar fired.
Lpd says bowie is still in the hospital, but is stable.
A review board for the shooting has been scheduled for monday.
