Breakdown of the gonewswatch 12's leah thompson is live at home.

She talked to a winery and restaurant today about the draft guidelines.

There are four pages of guidelines.

I have it right here on my phone.

It's broken up into different sections like distancing, employees, and operations.

You could be sitting at your favorite restaurant or winery in a few weeks.

These businesses may need to take governor brown's 4 pages of guidelines into consideration.

Rellik those outlines work kind of perfect for us.

Annette first thought i had was how are we going to do all of this?

The guidelines are still just a draft, but they give us a glimpse of what reopening might look like.

The guidelines stress the importance of social distancing.

It says tables should be 6 feet away from eachother.

And the number of people allowed should be reduced to 50 percent capacity.

Annetee it's all stressful.

The owner of rooster's resturant says just following these two guidelines reduces the amount of tables she can have from 23 to 8.

Which is less than 50 percent and more like 20.

Annette but i think being able to bring in a few customers in would be a good thing.

Rellik if we can actually open in the next week or so we have a good chance of making up lost ground.

The owner of rellik winery is ready to reopen.

Rellik we will be ready the minute we get the go ahead.

He says following the social distancing orders is easy for his business.

Rellik we have a large interior inside seating area, but we have a vast outside seating area being a winery.

The winery sits on 15 acres.

And he says he will spread people out as far as they want.

Rellik we've actually already started setting up our outside seating area, for distancing both of these owners tell me no matter what is important to get customers back in the door.

Some of the other things restaurants, wineries and bars will have to offer is single use items. like menus, salt and pepper and condiments.
