Butte County is set to increase coronavirus testing with one new community testing site that will be located in Chico, according to Butte County Public Health officials.
Butte county is one of 80 community coronavirus testing sites planned for across our state - and chico... is home to one of those locations.

The state picked this location based on people's incomes and if people could drive less than an hour to receive testing.
This site will be run by the state and a company called optum serve.
Optum serve is known for quickly setting up health care services and working closely with the u-s army medical department.
Shasta college is also one of more than 80 statewide testing sites mandated by governor newsom.
