Employees at triumph foods who think coworkers who have tested positive for covid-19 are returning to the job too soon.

They say they now fear for their own health.

A small group that originally signed a change-dot-org petition now has well more than 840 names.

It was started by the cuban wife of a current triumph employee.

She says she's disappointed a- symptomatic workers are being allowed back at the plant just 10 days after testing positive.

(sot "i'm very sad for him and for all the employees and for everyone in the city because everybody is scared.

There is a lot of contact between everyone in the plant.

The positives are together with the negatives and there's not enough time separated and nobody knows who is sick.".) the petition is asking for the plant to be closed for a week for time to have everything professionally disinfected, including the lockerrooms, the bathrooms and the cafeteria.

The employees we talked to say the only time social distancing has been enforced at triumph was last week when workers were in line waiting to get their coronavirus tests administered.

We'll have more on this story -- and attention it has received internationally tomorrow on kq2 news.
