Little Richard Exits The Stage Of Life At 87

Rock 'n roll pioneer Little Richard died Saturday.

He was 87, and died in Nashville with his brother and son by his side.

CNN reports the artist's death was related to bone cancer.

The "Tutti Frutti" and "Long Tall Sally" singer was born Richard Penniman in Georgia, in 1932.

He was a flamboyant, makeup-wearing, piano-playing man who personified the "devil's music" to establishment guardians.

Nevertheless, he had millions of admirers, such as Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger.
