Baker county judge hears arguments in lawsuit against Gov. Brown

Alicia says: there was heat on both sides as attorneys argued their case -- today's hearing was all about a request for a preliminary injunction, which if granted, would deem the current executive orders invalid and the oregon supreme court would likely be the next step.

Christina says: "mr. abrams did mention the legislature can end this if it wants that's absolutely true the legislature has the ability to call itself into session that has not been done" hacke says: "i know the other side basically said well it's just one of many tools no it's not it's the constitution it's the baseline for the entire state" the prosecution wants the current executive orders declared invalid, stating in the lawsuit that governor brown did not follow proceedures, set forth by the oregon consititution, when issuing the curret executive orders.

Today's hearing lasted more than two hours as attorney's presented their arguments.

The judge did not reach a decision today.
