Marlee starting tuesday may 26th an intial set of safe health protocols with be in place on purdue universities campus.
One of those safety protocols will require people to wear a mask like this one.
Anyone who enters a building on purdue universities campus must wear a face mask or covering.
That mask must be worn in all hallways..
Public spaces..
Common areas as well as office spaces where social distancing isn't possible.
Face coverings will also be required outside if social distancing guidlines can't be met and gathering practices are not possible.
The university also announced the appointment of the protect purdue implementation team.
The team will be in charge of laying out guidlines for purdue university to opperate in the fall.
The team will be divided in to 7 focus groups which will focus on everything from learning and instruction to health monitoring and surveillance.
Along with that long list of protocol purdue has also put together a medical advisory team which will assist the university as it continues to prepare to return to on campus instruction in the fall.
These protocols at this time as considered preliminary..
Since they still have to be voted on by the board of trustees.
