I spoke with the owner who says that his restaurant is finally making a comeback.

Tables ."

"it's been pretty good, we had a really good say friday, saturday.."

Joey cole says that he has seen more business today as people are just out riding around.

The restaurant is still operating only curbside and pick up orders.

"community rallied around us, belmont, red bay, everybody."

Dixie queen closed mid march and stay closed for 4 weeks.

After those 4 weeks dixie queen opened back for curbside and pickup only.

They dining room is smaller so it is still closed to ensure social distancing.

"our dining room is really small, is we wanted to have capacity we would only have 3 tables."

Workers here are wiping down the restaurant clean and wearing gloves.

Joey cole says as soon as soon as it's safe, he will reopen the dining room.
