Today’s Pet of the Day is Fred from the Jackson County Animal Shelter.

Beaches.- - it's time again for our wxxv pe- of the day.

- i started pet of the day on - march 25th, to help spotlight - shelter pets that still need- homes, especially - during the pandemic to help in- any way possible to - clear the shelters and give - those animals a second- chance at finding a loving- family.

- for the past two months, out of- 24 animals, 23 have been- adopted.- so let's keep the streak going,- today we have fred from the - jackson county animal shelter.- fred is a pointer mix.- he is neutered, chipped, good - with dogs, sits on command, - walks good on a leash and even- though he was shy when he - came in, he is coming around!

- fred is available for adoption,- it's $25 they are open monday - thru- friday
