Iowa legislators are back in des moines to resumethe work put on hold earlier this year.

Kimt news 3's alex jirgens reached out to north iowa representative s to find out what's on the agenda at the state house, on the scene it's been roughly 11 weeks since the iowa and senate last discussed business at the capitol.

"* and it's much more than jut some representative s wearing face coverings.

"democrats have to caucus at the wallace building, so we have to walk a block down and caucus there."

Today ?

"* a bill offering support for people with dyslexia passed out of the education committee ?

"* and is expected to head to the floor.

So what is left to get done in terms of legislation?

"i would like to see something done with the ems bill, i'd like that to go forward."

In north iowa ?

"* there is no set date set for when the legislative year will be able to wrap up.///
