Yesterday there were only 120 new cases.

According to the governor..

The state's total positives is now... 11,708.

Governor beshear also reported five new deaths today....and that includes two from long term care facilities.

The total number of people who have died from the virus inthe state, is now 477.

The pastor at clays mill baptist church in jessamine county says covid-19 did not spread at his church.

Clays mill baptist church pastor, jeff fugate, posted a message on facebook last night..critizing governor beshear..

Saying that there isn't any evidence... that members contracted the virus at his church.

Beshear responded to a question about the church, yesterday during his daily briefing.

According to the lexington herald leader..

At least 18 members..

Have been diagnosed with covid-19, in his facebook post... pastor fugate says, the members could have gotten the virus at a grocery store or another place of business that they had visited.

The church opened may tenth to staff..

And began in-person services on may 17th.

The pastor says on facebook, that he dicided to go back to online services until june 21, because he didnt want church members who did have the virus to expose others.

The pastor says on june 21, in person services will be held outside under a tent.

The kentucky state fair in louisville gets to return this summer with restrictions... to help prevent the spread of covid-19 for people at the fair.

Governor beshear announced today.... that his administration has approved a proposal to allow the kentucky state fair to take place in august.

The governor says... however, the fair will not be able to use the portion of the expo center... that currently holds the state field hospital.

The field hospital is still on standby in case of a spike and overflow of coronavirus cases.

We could be in for some severe weather tomorrow.
