I'm out here on government st., ocean springs, or just under 30 minutes away the unity margin healing rallies to take place at 6 pm in with me right now is a good organizer, elizabeth feder hosey elizabeth thank you for joining me.

Absolutely.
And so what is the all of this unity margin healing rally.
The goal is to come together as a collective group to talk about racism in our community to knowledge that it is here and i exists until we do that we can actually move forward and we can heal together.
Yeah, absolutely.
And so what are some of the specific discussions that will be held today.
Well, we've got mental health care professional who were to talk about the trauma of racism and how it can affect people physically and mentally throughout their lifetime to talk about healthy ways to facilitate dialogue and have a simulated the listening booth series where residents talk about how they've been a acted i racism in their community where the audiences can actually this into down and absorb their experience and i use it as a way to understand what people are going through so that we can have an open dialogue about what racism needs and what we can do as allies to to in that experience for people, absolutely.
So it starts at six at 6 pm.
They will be marching for government street down to freedom field two blocks south of where were standing right now so i will live you all have a comprehensive recap later on, or news 45 attended bc, but for now reporting live from ocean springs
