It's part of the kentucky pride fund... which gets money for the grant through fees for municipal solid waste disposed of in kentucky landfills.

The coronavirus has thrown a wrench in so many summertime plans... that includes summer leagues.

Normally teams would have been practicing up until the games start but because of quarantine they've missed out on the opportunity.

The lexington adult baseball league says either way... they're ready to get back out on the field.

June 29th is supposed to be the start of their season this year... but they quite aren't sure what the season will look like for them.

I mean we're going to be outside in ninety degree weather, i just got back from indiana and they're having softball tournaments up there and i mean i think the weathers helping.

Just wash your hands, have some common sense."

We're going to make sure that they sit on the benches six feet away from each other the best that we can and make sure we don't have any unsupervised children out there.

Greenberg says it's tough feeling stuck inside the house... and that getting outside and moving in the sun is great for mental health as well.

The lexington adult baseball league is looking for more players if you're interested in joining.

After more than three months the newport aquarium will once again have visitors.

Starting today through wednesday annual pass holders will get first dibs.

And then on thursday it will open to the public.

There will be some changes in place to ensure the health and safety of visitors and staff.

All visitors must reserve tickets.... that includes annual pass holders.
