The funding for this comes from goverment funded grants that have been made available by the coronavirus food assistance program "kevin green, oneida county youth bereau director" "i'm sure that there are children in need of families that are in need.

This is a great opportunity for folks to come out and get some nourishment."

Volunteers tell me there's over 4000 gallons of milk in over 42,000 pounds food they're giving away.

Terri says: "this is actually a good thing because it's being purchased from either a cooperative or a cup or a packer that's directly impacting a farm they cannot move their product and it's given to the community which also helps them out.

" those who were in line say it was a long wait but worth it.

"actually i was the first one here so about two hours.
