Two Harford County deputies were hurt Thursday afternoon during a chase when a driver allegedly dragged one and crashed into another.

INJURED.

POLICE SAY SEAMANTURNED OFF ON MOUNTAIN ROADAND AGAIN ON OLD JOPPA ROADBEFORE APPROACHING WHITAKERMILL ROAD WHERE DEPUTIES ANDSTATE TROOPERS WERE WAITINGFOR HIM WITH A SPIKE STRIPACROSS THE ROAD.

NATEGERRES SUFFERED A PAIR OFFRACTURES TO ONE LEG AND WASLATER AIRLIFTED TO THE SHOCKTRAUMA CENTER.

ONCE HIS CARSTRUCK THE DEPUTY, SEAMAN RANINTO ANOTHER CAR AND TOTALLEDA STATE TROOPERBEFORE HE WAS CHASED DOWN ONFOOT AND ARRESTED.

POLICELATER DISCOVERED HE WAS INPOSSESSION OF A SMALL AMOUNTOF MARIJUANA AND PARAPHENELIA,WHICH WOULD HAVE ONLY RESULTEDIN A CIVIL CITATION AND HEWOULD HAVE BEEN FREE TO LEAVETHE SCENE AFTER THE INITIALSTOP.
