We could have final numbers in some key races earlier than expected tomorrow.

L3: election 2020 white election results expected by 6 p.m.

Counties were allowed to wait a week to turn in results from last tuesday's election.

That was due to the high number of absentee ballots that needed to be counted.

The state encouraged people to vote by mail to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

According to the secretary of state's office.... of the more than 878-thousand absentee ballots that were sent out this election.... 87- percent have been returned.

The secretary of state's office says they expect most county clerks to turn their results in by 10 tomorrow morning .... with all the results ready by 6.
