- however, with lewis' death on - friday, artists steve barney an- marian glazer have worked - together over the past few- days to add lewis' image next t- - - - king's on the mural.
The artist- hope the artwork will get kids- engaged in learning about - the history of civil rights in- america.- - "this mural is right next to th playground, so if we can get on- kid excited about learning abou- the legacy of - - - - john lewis, we've succeded."
"i'm really concerned about the youth in our city, and i just - hope that this mural can- help inspire them in their- lives."
