Braxton Barnhizer ready to make name for himself at Trinity Christian

Barnhizer averaged 20.2 points, 9.7 rebounds and 5.6 assists a game his senior season at Lafayette Jeff

Barnhizer finihed with more two thousand points in high school ..

He also proved he's more than just scorer ..

In addition to averaging 20 points per game his senior season at lafayette jeff ..

Barnhizer grabbed 10 rebounds and dished out 5.5 assists.

He also posted 2.5 steals!

But as gaudy as those numbers are ..

College coaches showed more interest in braxton's younger brother brooks.

Both barnhizer boys will continue their basketball careers in chicagoland ..

A rising senior at jeff is headed to evanston next year to play for northwestern ..

Braxton is headed to palos heights this year to play for trinity christian ..

An n-a-i-a program.

Braxton picked up a si offer from mike davis and detroit mercy ..

However, he felt trinity christian was the best fit ..

The recruiting process was tough for braxton ..

Especially with all the attention his younger brother received ..

But it won't change his mindset and the way he approaches the game ..

I don't mean that in a cocky way.

I just feel like what i bring to the table as a whole: i'm a tough player i feel like.

I play with energy.

Not everybody loves my energy but it's what i do.

That's who i am.

I'm going to embra who i am.

I'm not going to change who i am.

If i'm overshadowed by anybody i want it to be my little brother.

I don't want it to be anybody else.

I'm really happy for him.

Nobody else deserves it more than him.
