Hebron Christian School's headmaster and teachers share the creative ways they do their jobs without access to high-speed internet.

Broadband is a daily obstacle for virtual classes due to coronavirus concerns.

Wtva alexis jones was in pheba with how teachers at one private school have a daily fight to keep students learning.

I'm here at hebron christian school where teachers have found ways to do their jobs despite the internet access.

Some even use their phones to help them send assignments sot: "they're going to find a way to get it done no matter what the circumstances are."

Headmaster bobby eiland said some teachers use the personal hotspot on their phones as a source of internet.

Others have used facebook live to teach their students.

Cindy mccarter is a kindergartner teacher at hebron.

She created a facebook group for parents when classes were fully virtual.

Mccarter said it was easier for parents to receive activities through social media.

"i had a lot of feedback from parents that they would send me pictures of their students work that they did.

That's how they shared it with me."

Mike gammil teaches bible class.

He said he has worked from home a few times for faster internet.

He said he communicated with his distance learning students through email.

He also sent out assignment packets.

Sot: "not everybody lives in a location where you can have internet at home and it's not economical to use your phones all the time."

Headmaster eiland said two students are working from home this school year.

And some classes, like spanish, are still taught online.

Even though the lack of broadband is an ongoing problem, eiland said teachers will continue to provide a great education.

Sot: "no matter what happens, our teachers are going to find a way to get the job done."
