Florence High School cancels football games after 3 players get coronavirus

His afternoon, i talked with florence city schools.

I learned the district is in constant contact with the alabama department of public health.

Right now, all football games, practices, and in person classes for players are on hold until october 5th.

A district spokesperson said everyone's too busy to speak on camera.

But told me the entire football team is in quarantine.

That's about 65 students.

The district also told all parents the alternating schedule will continue until further notice.

The school system planned on returning to five day a week in school learning next month.

Those plans are on hold.
