WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Robins Air Force Base and community leaders across middle Georgia gathered today to highlight breast cancer, domestic violence, and substance abuse.

Will return to school next week.

All remaining grades will be back in the classroom after fall break on october 19th .

Robins air force base held an event today, to bring awareness to breast cancer, domestic violence, and substance abuse.

It's part of the eleventh annual declaration of "triple ribbon month" for october.

Nat: triple ribbon month is designed to bring awareness and foster prevention to each of the causes through different activities in the community.

Bapties: lot of the partnerships that we do with a community off base agencies help our civilian employees because those are the agencies that we would refer our civilian employees to so it does great service to our employees for on-base agencies to be partnered with the base agencies.

Community leaders gathered at the base chapel, to sign the proclamation in recognition of the three awareness initiatives throughout october.
