A marshall, illinois man lost his life this morning after his car collided with a semi on i-70.
It happened about 4 this morning near the five mile marker.
Indiana state police say 23 year old tanner carpenter was driving too fast for conditions.
He lost control of his car, hitting concrete barriers several times.
This left carpenter's car disabled in the passing lane.
The semi driver did not see the car in time to stop.
I-70 was closed to traffic for about three hours, but it has
