The Columbus police chief confirmed the department is investigating a deadly shooting.

Lowndes county coroner greg merchant identified the victim as 20 year old frank edwards.
He said edwards gathered with some friends at the time someone and killed him chief fred shelton the shooting happened after an argument around 9 last night in front of a home in the 13- hundred block of 12th avenue south -- police found edwards dead in the front yard a second injured person is now out of the hospital.

They said this vehicle is a mazda four door dark in color.
