Six Flags Announces Plan to Reopen All 26 Parks in 2021 Season.

Texas-based theme park operator Six Flags has announced its intention to reopen for the 2021 season.

The plan includes all 26 parks, including five locations that remained closed in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In a press release, Bonnie Weber, Senior Vice President of Park Operations, said that they are ready for the “return of fun and signature Six Flag thrills.”.

Weber went on to cite the park’s “standard for operating” in 2020 and how it was in accordance with health guidelines.

The policy changes include face coverings, guest and employee temperature checks, park capacity limits and an online reservation system.

Six Flags also plans to hire “thousands of team members” for the 2021 season.
