Record-breaking numbers of visitors travelled to see Iceland's erupting volcano

On Sunday, the entire western flanks of both cinder cones of the volcano collapsed, showing the inner part of the lava.

In was the highest and strongest since the beginning of the eruption spewing around 50 metres (164 feet) high.
