The hoosier spirit two -- flies through indiana's senate -- with a 47- to one vote.
House bill 11-97 looks to rename a p-47 aircraft -- at the evansville war-time museum -- as the new state plane.
The bill now heads to the governor's desk.
That change looks to honor the more than 6- thousand p-47 planes that were made in the river city -- at the "republican aviation plant" -- during world war two.
The museum is currently raising money -- to repaint the selected aircraft
